Words,
in lipstick the flavour of honeydew,
caress the tissue that blots.
Fumbling through the prelude,
I feel you:
tight as Velcro
and sweet as sugar,
coating my essence
in a poor metaphor
of icing on a cake.
Too sweet,
the froth bubbles,
coating the carpet with
rich determination;
no bothering with the
overcoat of society,
constricting like pantyhose
two sizes too small.
Clueless to the education
of stalwart principles,
you bring the righteous
perception of a
delectable forbidden fruit
to the table of desire.
A synopsis of wayward plans
executed in a flawless bow to
the serendipity of the moment.
Ending in a soft riot,
your finale drifts,
not anticlimactic,
but rather quietly
awaiting the encore.
