Leave the restraints of time,
and let the wind carry you.
The signposts in the heavens,
they will lead the way.
Take his hand and abandon reality,
Feel the clouds brush your cheeks.
Go to the land where feelings are uncomplicated,
Where love is innocent and pure.
To the place where childhood fantasies lie,
Where naivety rules and mischief is minor,
Where kisses are always firsts,
Where friendship lasts for ever,
And the fairies dance in the twilight.
Dance with the boy,
the boy who shunned time.
He gained as much as he lost, maybe more.
Escape to that land,
and never return.
Away from complications, corruption and chaos,
Just young and innocent, wanting to stay that way.
No aspirations of maturity and Independence,
No longings to be beyond your years.
Time is not wasted on wanting time to move on,
For there, time doesn't really exist.
Goodbyes will never be spoken,
And greetings have no use.
Leave the restraints of time,
and fly.
