she looked down
in to the cool clear water
it called to her
"come on
its so easy
all you have to do
is take a little step
one little movement
and you will have
no worries
no fears
nothing at all
I can carry you along
and you will never
have to look back
what do you say?
want a free ride?"
she looked deep
into her reflection
was that what she wanted?
she took a step back
then
a running leap
in to the water

This is beautiful. I feel this is very deep and full of emotion. It really hits home for me because I've done it...and that's really how it felt. Like the water was calling me far away from my problems. Then it was very cold water and I could have really died. Sometimes you look at all the pain and think, I wish I had done it...then you realize what you would have missed out on- Life.
