The simplicity of it all, will completely succomb you to the sweet, sweet smell.
And you won't notice the skin,
hidden deep within the bubbles.
Your eyes will be locked with mine.
They will not search for something more beneath the water.
We'll talk about our dreams.
And how we plan to change the world.
It's not my eyes you'll love.
It's my point of view.
All the things on the surface, are what you'll see right through.
You'll long to touch my soul,
not my bare skin.
Soon, your eyes will wander,
and see the imperfections.
But, your hand will still find mine,
deep beneath the water.
We'll lower our voices then,
you hear more in a whisper.
Then we'll rise, and you'll pull me close,
feeling more than just skin.
You'll feel every scar, and woven thought,
hidden deep within.
I'll feel your mind reach out to mine,
they'll touch and stay that way forever.
The bubbles soon, will slide away.
But their sweet, sweet smell, always will remain.
