A Pillar That Will Stand The Test Emit Of Time

In a time when all else was falling apart around me
Only one person walked right through all the walls I was building
Took me by the hand and accepted me for my faults and my charms
And although she stole my heart, I turned her world upside down

Now left with what I have done to the person that helped me so dearly
I am at a lose on what I can do to turn her world around
And bring her as much joy as she had shown me was possible
As all I can do is bring more worry and trouble to an already troubled time

With one look into her eyes, I can see clearly the roads ahead
I dare not look away, in fear to loose all she has shown me was possible
She is nothing less the an angel, that this world has taken for granted
And as this wonder, she holds a strength, tempered by nothing less
Then lifes troubled ways of leading us down winding paths

She is so much more then a caring mother, and a beautiful woman
And all I can do is remind her of those qualities she can not see
For we all walk alone in troubled times, and must make our own choices
Like a rose trapped by thorns, she just needs to blossom into her own

All I can say is, I love her, for who she is outside and in
Even a wise man would come short when trying to leave it to words
To describe all she is and all she can be, standing so strong
Like a pillar of elegant wonder, she will stand the test emit of time

To hold her in my arms for a brief time has been more then I feel I disserve
And now I fear to trap her in despair just trying to hold onto her
A man should truly be grateful to have her even look his way
She is just that kind of woman you would walk the world to just get a glimpse of

She will always have a place in my life, in my heart and in my home.
