ANOTHER TIME
Another time, another place,
A few more flowers to fill the vase,
And you and I...
We might of made it.
Another reason, another season,
A few more blossoms falling from above,
And you and I...
We might have made it.
A few more roses, a few more poses,
A few more walks down desolate lanes,
And you and I...
We might have made it.
A few more walks, a few more talks
A few more miles to Lover's Lane,
And you and I...
We might have made it.
But time is naught, we've been caught,
The road to our love is now closed,
But, you and I...
We could have made it.

This piece is flawless! I love the rhyming and the rythm, and all the thoughts you seem to have put into this piece. Good job!

That's absolutely gorgeous.
I love it. The last lines were what really hit me the most... I mean ... they just have so much power and bittersweet resolution... what a climatic way to end a flawless piece. Well done and good luck.
