The Summer's left me with a broken heart,
solitude's the only escape
Your sanity was only a cover;
what we had was fake.
Silenced by the middle men
of this pointless charade.
To scared to face me alone to say
I wasn't worth the wait.
Left me on my own
To say I had chosen my fate
Tears hidden by the crashing waves.
Revealed secrets are the worst
when you are left to break.
Searching through my memories,
erased the colors of my hate.
Reversing time; in black in white
learning from my mistakes.

Brooding
I detect seething anger...am I correct?
-
-
Anger yes...but not so much seething...
Through the anger and hurt, learning from experiences is key, some times you should look at things in black and white; somethings are not worth tears. -

another thought
I think we have all had summer romanaces and learned from them.
Remember..."...that which does not kill me..makes me strong!" -
AHHH
