fire consumes rocks below
molten liquid stirs
purity steams
rising
refreshing fountain explodes
tear drops descend
decreasing down
cleansing
calm cavern; peaceful pool
still silently rests
mirrored reflection
satisfying

I like the way this progressed from fire and explosion to calm and peace - nice take on the prompt

This is a great little piece. I don't view it in any literal sense, for me it can be related to various things: nature, emotion, the cycles within society.
Thanks for sharing

when the waters play a role in poetry, it never fails to succeed, and then to be able to detail the explosive eruptive tides, very nicely, you were there to see it huh? ..lol

Wonderful piece...does the prompt justice, but i think your photo completes this.......also think the photo on your home page of the mountain would make a great picture prompt........peace
