I See You

Missing image
I bring you to life, through my thoughts
I see you everywhere,
I feel your presence in my soul
you take away my fear.

You follow me and guide my path
I stumble you are there;
you whisper deep within my soul
secrets that we share.

I see your presence in the earth
flowers as they bloom,
as they awaken from their sleep;
I see you in the moon.

I see you pointing to the heavens
in the branches of the trees,
I feel your warm embrace
in the gentle summer breeze.

I see you in the homeless
in their fragile lonely tears,
I see you in the passersby;
their cold and numbing stares

I see you in all humanity
every soul that dwells,
screaming to be heard
in our dark, human shells.

    Thank you for your entry. I love the imagery in this. My only suggestion would be to take out "and" in the last line and replace it with a comma.

    this is a very well written affirmation of faith and you describe your feelings particularly effectively through your use of imagery. the use of repetition also works well, and although i'm not a fan of rhyme - mainly because it's something i can't do - this doesn't seem to be strained. thanks for sharing such positivity and good luck in the contest.

    We can honor Him very well by acknowledging that we know He is the Creator of all things. That is what this write does. It honors our precious Lord and Father. I so enjoyed the read, and I am sure our precious God is hornored to know you believe and give Him the glory for it. Thank you for entering the contest.

    "I see you pointing to the heavens

    The whole poem is incredible, but it's that line that I absolutely fell in love with. Beautiful imagery and thoughts, and you see God in nature just as I do. I relate so well to this poem and understand where you're coming from. You have such a beautiful gift for writing and general expression. Keep up the good work!

    He is indeed always with, and around, us ... in our spirit, in the souls of others, in nature ... everywhere. Lifting us when we fall, helping us overcome adversity. We only need to open our eyes and our hearts, and reach out ...

    Wonderful expressions of God's gifts. Good luck in the contest!

    wow...BRILLIANCE has once again shined down from God upon you! The 'you' in this poem is God, no doubt.
    >>You follow me and guide my path
    as I stumble you are there,
    you whisper deep within my soul
    of secrets that we share.

    yes, everyone that has God share secrets and memories that no other mortal can even begin to comprehend. yes, most people want God to follow them, but I try my best to let Him stay in front as much as possible. though as humans, we tend to try to switch our spots with God as the Guide of our life.
    wonderful! an amazing gift God has blessed you with.
    God Bless,
    Smarelious

    Beautiful praise prayer, If we really look we can see God in all creation. If we don't see Him we are not looking.
