How could they have done this
To the Planet that gave them life
As Mother Nature admits defeat
Drowning the world in a solitary tear
As the Sun breaths it last breathe
Giving a blast of golden sunlight
As the heart of the world stops beating
And silence falls across the land
The Angels now broken and weary
Ascend mournfully toward Heaven's gate
