Fading in the darkness,
Every hope of light,
The world burning in vices,
Darkening the falling night;
The phase of the time,
Ended in embeastment of man,
Peace and humanity sublime,
Roaming wild in the skin of human;
Warmth of days went heated so soon,
Burning sun and the heated moon,
Blazes shower in the monsoon,
Mercy a curse, death a boon;
Hearts cold as cold can be,
Capitalised 'I', diminished 'we',
All virtues, they say 'are for me',
Vices all for him, vice is he;
Heads held high as high they can be,
Religion and virtues, 'O let them be',
Men evil as even evil cannot be,
What do they want? or they want to be?;
Strong standing on top of weak,
Respect for kings, hatred for meek,
Sins touching the highest peak,
Whom should pious men seek;
O Just, Thy Justice and Thy Mercy,
Fading in the darkness is humanity,
O Lord, bless us with Thy Mahdi [a],
Restore the world O Lord Almighty.
