“Look straight ahead!”
She said, looking through his eyes.
“But, just remember,
you never know what you
might be missing on the tip
of your nose when you’re looking
beyond the distance.”
“But surely,” he replied.
“I can amount to more
by looking further than
my own boundaries.”
“That’s very true” she uttered.
“But, you must learn to appreciate
and excel above the here and now
before leaping over the horizon.”

nicely written. love the last three lines. i love how you put a simple conversation piece into a poem. it has a nice flow too. simple but elegant. and to think, if you hadn't had posted on shameless, i probably never would have read this. it really is a lovely piece.

Great piece. I agree that it's important to pay attention to the future but not lose sight of the present. Glad I found this on shameless. Well done!

I know how you feel about the comment situation (from your promotion on shameless lol
)
I liked how you used the vantage points of far and near, not being able to see what is right on the tip of your nose becase you're looking out to the distance to see how far you can go. interesting =) and how you had different people talk about it like it was a conversation, nice!
GREAT job
diggin it majorly

This is a very beautiful poem, and I definately like the roleplay kind of thing you have captured within the lines as well
AND in fact that you have used three different colors for him, her and the teller
Well done!
