Fly with me to foreign lands where spirits teach
And legends stand to show us treasures in our souls
That none can fathom but you and I.
Oblivion’s waiting to lead us there.
A place of magic where the seas serenade
Of things less tragic than the world has deemed,
But only we will see it with pure vision.
Oblivion’s waiting to lead us there.
Take my hand and we’ll wander upon
The road to disband and soar through the skies
That are meant for only you and me.
Oblivion’s waiting to lead us there.

Incredible!
I really enjoyed the meaning in your poem, and all the different ways that Oblivion could be intepreted. You had extremely good adjetives, and I loved your poem alltogether. Fantastic work.

I've been to Oblivion many times and many ways.... [Not ALL good either...
] But I do prefer the version you speak of... Now if we could just get Eternity along for that ride...!!!

The rhythm is very nice, and the imagery is dreamy- almost like a lullaby.

I liked this.
While I was reading it, it reminded me of the song "Anywhere" by Evanescence.
