All night—the radio fuzzed winter storms
So you woke to see street-side trees shivering
Their tops coated in porcelain sky
Bent skeletons proof of an airy heft.
Schools in the tri-county area cancelled today,
Metro service delayed,
Expect extended commutes.
So with nothing to do you were a window
Frame bent, a tree burdened with glass.
