I've fallen now,
Though it's not my fault.
I've succumbed to the only truth.
In lands near, far, I spread my terror,
And watch as dreams are slaughtered.
I've brought the pain of loss
To everything I see.
I've murdered members
Of all the families
I've longed to take me in.
I've destroyed the hopes
Of parents, for daughters
Though I was desperate to change the fates.
I've been given these powers
To bring death to life
Against my fading will.
Not long now
I'll have given up
And my wrath will release at full strength.
Hell will stalk my unconscious friends
And death will revive again.
Author notes
I think I'm a death omen.
