Once the better part of stars;
warlords, blinded by their ancient scars
all attempting to perfect,
each entranced by the taste of present tense
You were added to the contract
a sword only lately blessed
because the deeper parts of action demanded
integrity in their craft
So let gods declare actions void and null
with whole pieces lodged
in cracks along your skull
Void of love
and stabbing truth
things never work
the way you think they do

This was perhaps what I was most interested in seeing come out of this contest. This was original and creative, abstract and thought-provoking.
"...each entranced by the taste of present tense..."
That was a really good line, if I may say so. Well done, poet, enjoy your points.
