Flowers of virtue,
Thy scent so light,
How you reflect on all
Who are in sight.
Flowers so pretty,
You make my garden nice
Amongst all the herbs
And the grass and the spices.
Flowers of lovliness,
That grow towards the sky,
Everything you teach me,
You could teach my soul to fly.
Flowers of truth,
Be at one with my heart,
Be my own reflection
Before from me you part.
Flowers of colour,
How bright thy petals are,
I can see your colours
Radiating from oh so far.
Flowers of hope,
Make me hope for something new,
Let my soul and heart be peaceful,
Make me be like you.
Flowers of virtue,
Be mine forever more,
Be at one with me and my garden
And open my soul's door.
Author notes
This is a poem that reflects how I feel about gardens, flowers and the colours that flowers have, their radiance. Flowers are a garden's centrepoint.

Very lovely. I connect so well with my garden and that's the feeling I get from this.
