Memoirs of an Aging Satellite

Years now, I've circled round you
Diligently orbiting, observing everything
Shall I now break from that path
Plunge into the fire of the sun?
Or succumb to your gravity,
Which, inevitably, pulls me down
Until my moon crashes to your sea

This is very deep. I love the images you used, and speaking of the person's gravity makes me feel how heavy their hand is in your life. Short but perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.
