Rip off the wings,
Of this so called cherub,
Take the very things,
That have caused your pain.
He does not bring love,
Just your eternal turmoil,
Paid with lust and blood,
Just ice your soul.
Your Love is long gone,
And here, it never was!

Rip off the wings,
Of this so called cherub <<< brilliant ! i loved the way you worded this, once again a great start to the poem and a great poem everall -
So sad, I really can relate to these words as a fair few people have ripped out my heart and made me wish I was never born! Beautifully put, so very passionately written, sure you know how I feel.

Neither were we, I'm afraid.

oohh! great write. Nice word usage.
Good luck in my contest. -
This conveys a lot of emotion.
I feel a lot when I read it.
I have to agree with a lot of the other
commenters about this.
It is riveting, deep, and just makes
you want to read it over and over.
Your Love is long gone,
And here, it never was!
This was my favorite,
Sometimes when you feel something,
it's not even there.
You may take it for more than it
seems. BUT really it was
never there. Good job.

I like it...sometimes it seems like life would be so much better if we never fell in love.
