Bitten By Bed Bugs
Good night, sleep tight,
Hope the bed bugs don't bite.
Yeah right!!
They feasted mightily,
My blood needed vitally,
Right now!!
I itched and wheezed,
Coughed, spluttered and sneezed
Now then!!
Allergic reactions which
Caused huge distractions,
Then stopped.
Author notes
I was badly bitten by bed bugs after a stay at a backpacker's hostel ... only to find out I am severely allergic to them!! The bites made my life a misery for 8 whole weeks.
