In a season of greening
sunshine means so much
and gentle rains, sweet waters
nectar from kinder clouds;

and time grows with us
as palms turn to rain swollen skies
gentle breezes touch every fold
and carries traces of our wants;

rising and falling with golden days
glistening in silvered dew and mists,
growing dreams of wonders and autumn wishes
.

    You have a gift for meditative and serene poetry, and this short verse is no exception. You use accessible vocabulary, yet form ideas in interesting ways. I particularly loved "and carries traces of our wants." Congratulations on your silver trophy. Peace, Liz

  • Beautiful stuff, PK. You've painted a lovely picture to my mind's eye. I love: "palms turn to rain swollen skies." Congrats on the silver shiny.
