Alone by the lake
wispy finger tips
trace lines in the water.
Towering against the sky
arms hanging gently
slender and strong.
Roots peeking
dipping in and out
buried and unveiled.
The grandeur
breezy nobility
peaceful whispers.
Soft shadows cast
a thousand un-told stories
tears of sorrow and joy.
Author notes
I adore weeping willow trees. They amaze me with their strength and beauty and delicacy. One of my favorite trees.

Untold truth
How you speak so softly of untold moments spent under the weeping willow tree, for love and perhaps at time madness have all been witnessed under such a tree.
Let the gentle Master stand firmly that he may witness yet more of the same old human drama under his most noble of shades.
I like it, I like it so!
