How old is your daughter? This is a really great poem. I love how each word holds such intensity so that it can be as short as short could be. It also has imagery in which I can almost see a little girl looking up in the middle of night night into the deep dark sky. But with holding so much hope that she may be able to find an angel. The angel that she has been waiting for her whole life. Or, it could be metaphoric. It could be someone who is depressed, but keeps looking out for her rescue. Keeps looking out for help. This is a really great poem. Tell your daughter to keep writing!
