A Sign of Spring
Rows of yellow daffodils standing on the hill
The golden sun peeps through the clouds
To take away the winter chill
The little birds can sing once more
As worms and bugs are on earths floor
The April showers my last for hours
But God has sent them for the plants and flowers
In the field we see new life begin
A lamb is born a sign of spring
And in the street the children play
But in the home all is made new
As we get ready for the new season too
