We fight for what we don't want to win
and ignore those that we wish to own.
Things seem to never end,
even though there is a hole within the circle.
We hide our wishes beneath the ground,
where others would never think to look.
A life of pure insanity,
in all reality makes complete sense.
Another takes what is not his,
and yet another doesn't fight for it back.
What should he do after his love has been stolen,
or should he even chase a lady
who covers his light with a fog of contrition?

this is really interesting.. people have the tendency to protect things they care nothing about and hold them close while pushing away the things that matter most... great idea to shed light on the idiosyncrisies (SP?) of the humanistic tradition...
i liked it, it really gives the reader something to think about and reflect upon later... its the kind of thing that will randomly pop back into your head then you have an epiphany of some sort.
anyway, i could ramble for a while but i won't.. great write.. i really enjoyed reading it..

Something new, which I am grateful for. I like the lines "We hide our wishes beneath the ground, where others would never think to look." This gives something to think about...how everyone seems to be hiding what they want.
