Some days are dumpster days--
times in our life
when we must look around
and decide to remove the clutter
clogging up our living,
and what it is that is worthy
and what really needs to go,
so that we can rejoin life
unfettered by our past,
and not weighed down by our accumulations!

Oh My Gosh I just read a poem that was heck lot different than this one but your poem and his poem make complete sense and it also impects how we as human beings live. basically in a way you are telling us to clean up after ourselves don't litter the Earth up in crap because before we know it we will lose all that is precious to us while we sow so little back in. any ways a very deep insightful poem and keep up the good work

Now this is really good. I looked at the pic and thought of "Clowns" THis poem is so much better and fits the picture. I enjoy reading a poem that has no contractions in it. We all have clutter in our lives, buried by paper, things, and sometimes people. This poem will give readers something to think about. I look forward to read more of your work. Note: You are a youngster in age compared to me

Nicely done
Very contemplative and full of wisdom. Yes, sometime in our lives we have to do just that, take inventory and get rid of the crap so we can move forward. I basically have done that 3 major times in my life and have not regretted it
I'm wondering though as great as this poem is for this particular contest if you wouldn't want to use some punctuation in here
I have given everyone until tomorrow to edit if they chose to
thanks for entering and good luck. be well and be blessed
