Cold tears drip down to fill the glass
As memories come to sadly pass
Throughout the land not one will sing
'tis the last breath of the dying king
And as the procession wends its way
The king on worn shield does lay
Throughout the city they slowly walk
To bring the king to sleep in rock
No man sits upon the gilded throne
The king is cloaked in solemn stone
By his side his kinsfolk cry
By and By they moan and sigh
Salty tears splash upon the tomb
Distraught silence holds the room
For the dead king they weep
He who lies in eternal sleep.
