Verdant walls of lushly brilliance
crystalize dreams of an ancient age.
Beyond the emerald forest that bear
leafy foliage of grandeur,
the gods unite in splendorous glory.
Creating a civilization of
superiority and prominence.
The earth echoe's in majestic measure,
reverberating the sound of
cascading waterfalls.
As the sun rains with the
intensity of a gracious equator.
Bathing the rich soil of
a plentious nation.
The fertility of life
flourishes in magnificence.
As an omen of the gods approval.
While the natives give offerings
of lusicious green stones
that sparkle like quasars.
Maidens of purity dance,
adorned in opulent fetishes
of fancy.
Underneath an untarnished sky
that is as verdurous as its
inhibitants.

This is as beautiful and lush as a rainforest~~I also admire your take on the challenge topic (a different sort of Emerald City, yes?)~~I can picture in my mind all the beauty that you write of here.
