She stares out at the land her parents tilled
Imagining all the effort and energy therein
She knows her parents would give anything to her
They just couldn't give enough to themselves
Bills and bank statements float before her
Foreclosure notices for sale signs
Her parents told her nothing before the day came
The day they told her we're moving

Oh my this is so sad. In the first stanza this sounded so hopeful for her future but the last stanza was QUITE unexpected lol I assume I would be looking like her too if this were the case lol Great take on the prompt. Thanks for entering and good luck. be well and be blessed
