Hidden truths and secret lies,
Noone knows, but someone tries
To find the truth behind the door
With padded locks not there before.
Open your eyes and you might see
What secrets lie inside of me,
Deep within my heart and soul.
Until you're here my heart's not whole.
Sleeping sweet deep inside,
Shrouded secrets; emotions hide.
Tears are masked, but I stay true
And raise the curtain just for you.
Open your eyes and you might see
What secrets lie inside of me,
Deep within my heart and soul.
Until you're here my heart's not whole.
When you're here, truth revealed,
Claim true love, then when I've kneeled
All my secrets will be told.
Until you're here my heart stays cold.

This is a very nice write, I know exactly how you feel here, I often keep my feelings and thoughts bottled up, because it feels safer that way. Lies and secrets aren't that far away from eachother really. Nicely done.

I absolutely love this poem (as I'm sure you can guess why). I remember it from so long ago and the words are still fresh in my mind. It's a wonderful poem. There really isn't much to say about it. I'm sure you can guess my feelings towards the poem. Great job. Never stop writing.
