[ Zipper killer entered the reception ]

Zipper killer entered the reception
Icing white skin and honeydew hair
Licking her lips to peak perception
looking for someone just to dare...

Knee-pads under the overcoat
T-shirt and socks is all she wrote
Swimmingly as she crossed the lawn
Delectable treasures to graze upon

Velcro pants, what was the chance
Sweetheart motions to the gazebo
Coincidental lovers by a glance
Please sugar plum, no one will know

Lipstick smears and carpet burns
Fumble-ling to dress, a little clueless
Little pain for what the heart yearns
Just a little gathering ballroom bliss.

Haha, this sounds like me in some ways, but don't tell any of my friends that I admitted to that! hehe, this ones both funny but quite likely with the people that I know.

This poem is clever, and I find the imagery to be a little silly ( the good kind ) yet brings out a lot from the poem. I can't really picture where this would take place... I am still wondering on what scenery I should imagine. I like your use of a word bank as well. I would not have guessed when I first read it.

Fantastic! This is my favorite stanza, the sugarplum is precious...I can hear my Momma saying it, in her South Texas Drawl...in fact....UGH!...nevermind..lol

You did good with this, I need a list of words used from the WB-I know I didn't state it in the contest, and Im splitting hairs, but get over it..
    And give me a list...please?
Best of luck, in this crazy contest...
