WaLK WiTH mE

He knew I was confused
With my situation
And offered His hand
"Walk with me," He said.

He knew I was hurting
From so many deaths
He offered me His hand
"Walk with me," He said.

He knew I had stumbled
Many times through the journey
Still He offered His hand
"Walk with me," He said.

    WONDERFUL!!!!!

When one offers a helping hand without reservations they are indeed a true and sincere friend.

I agree with Liz. The first thing that came to mind when reading this was the poem Footprints in the Sand. THis is gorgeous. What a beautiful poem. Very inspirational

This beautiful poem reminded me of "Footprints in the Sand":

    “You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

Welcome to our titles group. I look forward to reading more of your poetry. Peace, Liz

God certainly is the wonderful Father. This piece is very touching. "Walk with me," He said. He certainly knows how to make us feel wanted and loved. I love God. I love this poem. Great job with the title choice.

Oh my, this is so very touching
and sweet and very tender. I
know who I think He is, but I
wonder if that is who you meant.
hmmmm? I really enjoyed the whole
    feel of this one.

And He said walk with me, when your journey is too hard to bear I will help you through. What lovely thoughts you have taken for this title. I am left feeling peaceful and humbled in His presence. Thank you for sharing your gift with us here. Love and God bless, Joyce
