Angelic V (Sonnet #67)

Missing image

Is this an angel caught in spotlight’s glare,

A tiger cat clutched gently to her breast?

Has ever God created one so fair

As she who time and heav’n have greatly blessed?

Humility abounds, angelic bliss,

A peaceful aura there her soul ordains.

Tranquility surrounds, a genesis

Of life that naught can alter or constrain.

And yet beneath that sweet seraphic face

Doth lurk a vital maiden full of life,

That rings of endless joy and boundless grace,

Devoid of enmity and foolish strife.

Angelic is this face that touches all,

Ensuring her that nothing can enthrall.

Wonderful flow, rhythm and rhyme in this sonnet. Lovely picture it is, as cats are some of some children's, and adults too, best friends in time of sorrow, sadness and sickness. Lovely thoughts and sentiments shared in these lines.

nicely done of picture, what came to your mind. ShakesP, would be proud, if he did not have too much of the grapes. much of his writings are felt, but the language, though well used in his day are archaic today, the real meanings lost through time. many derivation appears, truth lost in revisions and expressions ion todays lingos. thank you for sharing, made my day.

That photo is very touching. It looks so serene and the poem compliments the mood that picture evokes perfectly.
Yet, there's also something sad about that picture, too.

Anyways, stop being so amazing! ;p << that would be the msn tongue dude. Tehee

I can understand why this picture seemed special, children are very unique in their own way, to write this form as you did, it took a special person to do so, good luck in this contest...
