Stormy Night

The west wind came

Gently at twilight

Blowing the hair

From my face

And sleep was more

Than resting

As the sails were raised

Towards the open ocean

And the unknown

.

The east wind

Could not let

The sunset have

Her bright brushstrokes

Filling the atmosphere

So thunderclouds

Darkened the skies

Winds whipped

Colors faded in rain

.

The lightning

Was also beautiful

Enlightening me

With the understanding

That I shall always be

The eye of the storm

Stretching, expanding myself

To reach the horizon

And change destinies

This is very enlightening, I got a real charge out of it and I was not revolted at all. The current flow is alternating rather than direct. I can see how the watts are directly related to the amperage. Well done love, I likey! Three bunnys….

    Love,
    Amera♥

Beautiful write. I especially liked the last four lines. It seemed metaphorical, like a person expanding their mind and to maybe rethink their plans for the future. Keep that pen flowing.

I really like this one. Just found it a bit hard to read the way it is all crammed together...... not sure if that is what you were intending or not. But the message in it is wonderful!! Love the title and the pic!

Best of luck in this contest!!
