A new morning, different day
Do I still feel the same?
Do we visit the past or keep our eyes to the future?
If we choose the past, what then happens to our future?
Is there room for growth and improvement or do we become prisoners of our memories?
When looking to the future will our past haunt us with every step we take?
Will things never be the same again?
Perhaps for the better and also for worse all at once
When this happens, will our hearts break from the struggle resulting in tearing our whole world apart?
Is there any recovering from that kind of pain?

Great write. The pain does go away. Look towards the future and see what can happen. Keep up the great work.

Those last few lines were powerfully strong. I enjoyed this piece, and the questions throughout. There seems to be only two choices--to live for the future, or to live in the past, though personally I believe that there should be some balance struck between the two.
Questions that spark the mind of the reader. Great job.
