Angel of Cheer

I sat so all alone.

A bit like a rejected soul.

The day had gone a little wrong.

Somehow my day lost it's song.

Only my tears seemed to comfort me.

I sat pulled up in my chair.

  I could hear the wind.

A singing a song.

  The a different ruffle,

That caught my ear.

I sat so very still.

  And held my breath.

The smell of violets in the air.

As light as the music that came.

This brought peace to me.

I felt as if no longer alone.

It was my angel who came.

To chase the winter gloom.

To the ravishing color I sing.

I'm not alone as I hum and sing.

this was a very nice poem. With a little revision and a good tune it would make a decent song. Thanks for entering my contest. Please feel free to check out the group.

    Very Heartfelt Poem

Well Mac, This was a beautiful poem. Your words were so soft and sweet. You so deserve an angel in your life for the kindness you give to others for sharing your love and kindness. Bless you my friend. You bring many smiles to me and others on those dark days. Take care my friend, Sandy
