why did he have to walk away and leave her
leave her standing there in tears and covering her face
she covers her face because she feels ashamed
ashamed of the things that have happened
you told her you would never leave her
but yet you tell her its over and walk away
walk away from what could have been
you are to afraid people will judge you
judge you for being with someone like her
you could not stand that could you
so you leave her standing there asking herself why
why you would evn care what others thought
she sits down on the bench and crys
crys for the lost love and broken heart
you continue walking away as she wonders why
wonders why and how you could do this

This is very deep ... It is something that would go through my mind repeatedly ... in fact ... it is something that has gone through my mind a few dozen times ... Why would he do this to me ... just because people made fun of him for being with me ... and now ... I'll tell you what ... he regrets leaving me ... for I was the only woman that accepted him for him ... and treated him so good ... but he fucked up ... and he knows it ... this is wonderful ... and it hit home ... thank you for entering this contest and sharing this piece with us ... much luck to you in the contest my darling ...
