Him

Why do I always think about him,

Always wondering...what is he doing,

Why do I even care?

Everyone always says you can tell when you love,

But someone has to tell you when you are in love.

And people have told me I was in love

But would you believe them if the person you loved didnt love you.

A lot of people think I am too enclosed...

But the truth is I dont want to get hurt.

    wow... this is nice.. I love the ending. It kind of draws it all home. You have to put yourself out there to get anything though. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Good solid write!

    There is so much truth in your words. This is a very reflective piece. Love strikes when we are least expecting it. That's when you're gone. Many people will be able to relate to your poem here. So many build walls around themselves so as not to be hurt!
