nature's hammer
pounding forcefully
tearing wide fissures
in the earth
spraying. pounding.
a violent thing
born of glacial ice
and carried by the weight
of the earth itself
turning deep blue
into white mist
and beating boulders into sand

This poem has a nice flow to it and your words conjure vivid images. A pleasure to read!

Liked the visions these words bring to mind, just not sure why the two periods are in that one line. Stops the natural flow of the piece. Nice HM - congratulations.

Wonderful images sewn throughout this weaving poet. I feel the rush of the Falls in your words. A stunning entry. Thank you!
