A poet's note

Tears the fall
Like sweet silver rain

Her little fists
Became balls a flame

A cell phone battery
Running low

A love that had faded
Many months ago

Lies be told
But pain be true

“I’m sorry” doesn’t cut it
But nether dose “I love you”

Trust I lost
He has never found
Tho I turned my life around

My face so grotesque
To my heart, no care
For nothing to live for
I am naked and bare

For a love
I would give the world to be happy with

Every moment of every day
I am the one to blame for this hideous mistake

The best I ever had
The only thing I need

Is for him to be happy
With or without me

    Exactly What I needed :)

This matches exactly exactly how I feel. Quite suprising. It makes for an awesome poem either way. And I loved the ending.
