What a life to have,
to lose his only true love,
the one from the very start.
The one he always admired,
the one he secretly had a thing for.
His master ruined his dreams
for a happy future, and
repelled his one of
his most faithful servents
that dreary Halloween night
his soul was ripped from his body.
Lily was gone, but her son survived.
Every time Severus looked at the boy,
it all rushed back.
Her eyes, so green, so unique.
Her personality, friendly and open.
But in the end Severus triumphed
over his master turned worst enemy.
Because of him the boy defeated
Voldermort, the most wicked of wizards.
For though he is gone,
his sacrifice will not be forgotten.
