When I feel, my, life
Begins to succumb
To eternal strife,
I feel so numb
To a burning knife,
A path to nowhere.
As you hold, my, hands
I begin to see
These dire lands,
I tend to flee
From the world’s demands
A path to nowhere.
[pre-chorus]
Dreaming a pit and a restless fire
Inside the claws of my own desire
Dreaming of sunshine and dreaming of fate
My knees hit the ground and I say:
[Chorus]
Follow me inside, I can take you away
Look me in the eyes, say you want to stay
As the sky is torn and the ground is shred
We begin to fly, soaring in my head.
[End Chorus]
When I feel, the, light
Slipping away
To eternal night,
I start to sway,
Towards my lonely plight
A path to nowhere.
As you touch, my, face,
I begin to hear
The quiet pace,
I tend to fear
That it’s out of place
A path to nowhere.
[pre-chorus]
Feeling the cold and the freezing rain
Supporting the shelf to your arctic pain
Feeling the hardship and feeling the hate
My knees hit the ground and I say:
[Chorus]
Follow me inside, I can take you away
Look me in the eyes, say you want to stay
As the sky is torn and the ground is shred
We begin to fly, soaring in my head
Follow me inside, I can take you away
Look me in the eyes, say you want to stay
Follow me inside, I can take you away
Look me in the eyes, say you want to stay
As the sky is torn and the ground is shred
We begin to fly, soaring in my head
[End Chorus]
As you hold, my, hands
I begin to see
These dire lands,
I tend to flee
From the world’s demands
A path to nowhere.
A path to nowhere.
A path to nowhere.

these are some REALLY good lyrics! I could hear more of a rock genre coming out of them, but it would work with whatever type of genre you prefer! I love it!
