The sweaty brow
Bead forming at an unrelenting pace
Heart racing
Blood pumping at a dizzying speed
A mind aware
Nerves tingling the soul
The truth revealed
Creates a constant threat in the mind
The pain held inside
Causing the anger to well
Seeing nothing but the white of your eyes
And within it, the darkness enveloping
Misery to unfold
And awaken the fear inside
