Meditation 13 (the silent breath)

My coil
expressed
within the silent breath –
to linger
patiently for Your mysterious
unmasked  majesty;
quietly,
revealing my heart
held prayerfully, open
to You.

Hush, oh my God,
each rising
thought-filled concern,
as waves calmed into
a mirrored glaze clearing
tranquility.

The self,
my center, waits
knowing nothing,
wanting nothing
– emptied
at this doorway;
Your presence - Here,
as I sit to know,
to be, as I am,
completely still.

Complete and still.

    What can I say that wouldn't sound redundant? Beautiful work. I feel as though I have eaves dropped on a personal time with you and the Lord.

    "revealing my heart held prayerfully, open to You."...this is another wonderful meditation, Richard. Perfectly composed to help one center and settle to become 'open' to the core. I thank you for sharing this one. Another bookmark...Peace always Shepherd, Rhonda
