I can’t give it back
What to do?
Do I see what’s true?
Is it what I lack?
Do others see a crack in me?
Can it be what I see I give back?
Am I seeing through my crack
seeing in others what I lack?
Can my sanity come back?
Will I forever live this side of the track?
Can you fix a mirror that’s cracked;
learn to live with the distortion it gives back?
Can you see the humor that’s in view
seeing an image new?
With age can come a mellow mind
It takes time to see sanity’s a fine line to find
A smile can soothe a crack that’s bruised;
a hug you’ll find will heal the blind
those looking through the cracks of mind

Author notes
1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. {darkly: Gr. in a riddle}
Ga 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Jas 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
Mt 22:37 Yahshua said unto him, Thou shalt love Yah thy Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

I bet your in your late teens or your early twenties, and I haven't looked at your page either. Your song takes me back to some of my writes back in the day; I fight growing older myself, it can bring a mellow mind but I've seen in some cases it can also be the point were some people completely loose it.
