running down the hall at full speed
Oh god here they come again!
A small scally dragon and a calico colored cat
Tied up in a wrestling match!
chasing through the snow
the dragon dissappears where did he go?
Kitty steps closer to a hole in the snow.
and beholds a horrible smell
and the little dragon is full of woe.
I'm not going to say what he landed in I think you know!
All is quiet perhaps they have finally stopped
Oh no they have not!
The two wander down a long hall
Stopping by a door to sniff and investigate a glowy thing.
A roar is heard and the castle shakes
Oh no what have they done now for goodness shakes!
A Balrog they have uncovered
And boy he's not happy
time to run from big mean and scary!
Down the hall they go followed by the queen
and you thought the Balrog was scary and mean!
There is yelling and fighting and
all escape with barley a scratch
thanks to a little dragon who jumped to act.
Now the mess is done.
The two go to clean up and
lay down to sleep
The little dragon opens his eyes and asks before he falls asleep
"So tommorrow we find out who summoned it?"
The girl who is the cat smiles "Sounds like a plan!"

A fun poem that hints at Dr. Suess, I couldn't help but picture that your iguana got loose and was chased by your cat into a black terrier (the balrog). Nice action!

I love this! Of course I recall the story it's telling very vividly.....but still it's totally awesome! And I agree with Rhia, you should so make this into a children's story book, or even a collection of poems.

I so Love it!Hehe and I Know the Little Dragon will Love it to... the wonderful adventures of the Calico cat and Little Dragon hehe you two should write books on them hehe.. that would be a Awesome Children's Book.. or for Youth lol .... That would Be A Great adventure in its self lol This Poem flowed so well and I was laughing and I just love this poem so much I wish I could Give more applauds... but *applaud* *applaud* *applaud* ! lol..
