Nature's canvas
is splashed from the palette of God,
a prolific painter of wonders,
his strokes of genius
are reproduced in exact beauty,
year after year,
Consider the Autumn leaves,
multi-colored snippets
of incredible beauty,
that rain like confetti,
to remind us that
we all eventually fall,
Or the wings of a butterfly,
fragile and yet ever enduring
in our memories of astounding symmetry,
fluttering by us
as it graces the flowers,
and carries life in
the grains of pollen shared.
And we must only look to the snowflakes,
let them fall gently on black velvet,
and understand that no two are alike,
crystal sculptures that defy evolution,
crafted and condensed in the clouds above.
Nature's canvas
God's handiwork on display
in the vast gallery of our world.

Wow...this was beautiful...as I said, not a big fan of free verse but this was fantastic. So many comparisons..."palette of God", "multi-colored snippets...that rain like confetti", "crystal sculptures that defy evolution"...just a few of my favorites. Thanks for sharing and good luck
