Woodland Magic

Missing image
Deep in the woods where humans never dwell
Lives a colony of fairies that think life is swell
One is a tiny lad that just loves to sing
With a head of green hair and butterfly wings
When his parents are busy he quickly slips away
To his favorite spot where he likes to play
The colors are vibrant, each prettier than before
He’s happy and content on his fairyland floor
Behind a big rock is where he loves to hide
Across this stone tiny creatures do glide
Then he rises up, just far enough to see
Their stunning beauty leaves him smiling in glee
Wildflowers and ferns grow here too
He picks some for his mom when he is through
She always smiles and hugs him tight
Knowing he’ll do this again when she’s out of sight

That picture is actually kind of creepy to me! But I really love the poem. I am an admirer of fantasy and things like this... you really captured the essence of the magical flavor within this picture and brought it to life so well and beautifully. GREAT JOB! Good luck!

    Beautiful

This is very very beautiful indeed. Wonderful imagery here of a world in which only the select few can ever see. [I say that, because I actually do believe in the 'little people']

The rhyme was superb and flowed brilliantly-well. Great emotion in in this piece as well. There is also love within this piece.

    Brilliant my Sister
    Much love

    Very good

Your poem takes the essence of play loved by young and old and distills the magic into a poem that flaunts reality and has fun with our desires to be entertained by thoughts of wonder. Your words are clever, descriptive, and imaginative. The descriptive wording and the great imagery brought it all to life.

This is adorable, I just looked at this picture it is so beautiful, you done well with this one, you may want to read the first line again and maybe change it to woods instead of wood, but other than that it is adorable.
