Wildlife surrounding me
The only place I'd like to be.
Peering around, pictures I do see,
I go on a flower picking spree
I feel so calm and want to stay
But I too have to go on my way.
On the ground, thinking, I lay
I'll be gone by the end of the day.
This was definitely a beautiful sight,
The sun is shining in my face- bright.
I think of my home and I miss it a bit more,
But when one opens, you have to close the door.
I wish I could stay here so much longer
But ever since I got here, I've gotten stronger.
Not in my muscles, but in my thinking
Because now I know my heart is no longer sinking.
It is time to leave this beautiful, natural place,
Where my mind was filled with so much grace.
I am so sure I'll come back again,
This place I have recently called my friend.
