Reading between the lines


i remember the time
you said "i love you"
and i thought you meant
"i love no one but you".
but isn't that just typically me.

do you remember the time
you said "i love you"?
i was sure that you meant
"i'll love you forever"
but thats what i get for reading too deep.

i remember the time
i heard "i love you"
but assumed you meant
"i love everything about you"
so this is what i get
for trying to read between the lines.
